Hope You're Good...

I don't know what to say to you
You don't know what I have been through
I'm making progress in my life
Through tough trials, I have survived

You still cross my mind now and then
But feel no emotions within
I hope you're well, and doing good
Make the most of life, like you should

I hear you've been around the town
And for a while, were not around
But still regardless of your deeds
I'm focused on my future's needs

I guess it's for the best, I'm glad
I feel no pain, I'm never sad
Without you I've not missed a thing
I've simply embraced what life brings...
