In the September 18, 1858 debate, Abraham Lincoln said:
I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races - that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And in as much as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race

how lame is that
In reality America thrives off the products of non-caucasian workforce, which is at their expense and benefits to the caucasians who are looking out soley for themselves, their offspring and future generations.
i find it quite unfortunate that others see/do not see the phsycological division in communities and institions that have put them in their places, and instead of at least trying to work collectively, not just as a group but as a united nations and work towards their future, they are blinded by the discreetly blatant social injustice and therefore subconciously feel limited in their abilities e.g an African or Asian man/woman being the president of the United States.
well,
i realize, from what i have heard, that the UK is a pretty racist place to live. The US is not half as bad. it is not blatant to say the least. Sure, racism is an issue, But there are a lot of African Americans in US Politics
Obama
