No More Love

There is no love left to give out, nor happiness to share about
There is no gladness here to give, so best you turn around and leave
There are no emotions to share, nor any ways to show I care
There's nothing left, all vacant now, I'll soon be hardened up somehow


I've given up on finding love, hence my heart is that way above
I bring out the worst in people, I'm tired of feeling vulnerable
I'm not so good and showing love, and those I'm with just end up hurt
My path's not been path, always rough, so they say enough is enough

The Time Of The Gemini

The end of Taurus' time is nigh
Along with its grey cloudy skies
Fear lurks within their beady eyes
For here comes due the Geminis

Be warned! Fear them, in all their might
Bask in their glorious, previous light
As they ride through, all queens and knights
Beg for their mercy in contrite

The central point of the whole year
The Geminis are most revered
By contemporaries, for its clear
Their power is felt as they draw near

The other star signs build a shrine
To praise the Gemini bloodline
And those who fail to, turn to swine
And bask in the wrath, all in line

So heed the wails, look to the sky
Acknowledge the warnings and cry
And forever do not deny
That the best star sign's Gemini

Everyday Self-Aware

When I am challenged and surprised, faced with two faced masks in disguise
When faced with peeves, like eyes that pry, or pet hates like rudeness and lies

I maintain my cool, move in stealth, retain a relaxed steady breath
I look after my mental health, my cool, my peace for that's my wealth

In life I'll always be challenged, if hurt ignore thoughts to avenge
Instead observe, take notes and learn, assess, reflect, think and discern

It pays to always be aware of self and treat one's self with care
For no challenge's too much to bear, so for all things I'll stay prepared.

Never Raise My Voice Again

Henceforth I have now made the choice
To never ever raise my voice
To give myself some inner peace
And put my mind and soul at ease

I'll be as calm as I can be
And set my inner demons free
For I am done with all that rage
It's time to start on a fresh page

I will listen more to the heart
No longer tear my world apart
Remain as calm as still waters
Be as soft as melted butter

There's no more room for anger here
I won't be the one to cause fear
I'll never raise my voice again
For peaceful blood flows through my veins
